Within our church classrooms, sitting on those Sunday school chairs, are the next generation of worship leaders, evangelists, artists, teachers, acts of mercy, and Christian leaders. They aren't just the church of tomorrow—they are a vital part of the Body of Christ today. They are simply waiting for an opportunity to discover the gifts God placed inside them.
For over 25 years, the Talent Show & Awards has served as that sacred training ground.
Now entering its landmark 26th edition, this ministry milestone is far more than an annual stage performance. For those of us called to nurture these young lives, it is a spiritual extension of Proverbs 22:6—training up a child in the way they should go, so that as they grow, they walk boldly in God’s calling.

The quiet child who was once hesitant to pray aloud now stands boldly on stage, ministering to an entire congregation through song or scripture recitation.
The reserved learner discovers a God-given creative talent—whether in drama, poetry, instrument, or art—and learns to use it as an act of worship.
Young hearts learn that excellence isn't about seeking human applause, but about bringing their absolute best offering to God.
This platform goes far deeper than trophies or applause. When we nurture a child’s talents within the house of God, we build faith, spiritual resilience, discipline, and a deep sense of identity anchored in Christ. They learn that their voice matters, their gifts have purpose, and they are called to be light in a dark world.
As educators, our greatest joy is reminding every boy and girl that they were created with intention. When a child realizes that their talent comes from God and is meant for His glory, potential turns into true kingdom purpose.
As we celebrate this 26th edition, our hearts overflow with gratitude to God. We honor every child who steps out in faith, every parent who prays over and encourages their young ones, and every dedicated leader who invests time and love into nurturing these precious souls.
There is no greater joy for a teacher than watching a child step into the purpose God designed for them.
